Spivey Law Firm Supports 19th Annual Cape Coral Police 'Shop With A Cop' Holiday Program

Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. is proud to once again support the annual Cape Coral Police Department ‘Shop With A Cop’ Holiday Program. This is the event’s 19th year. It allows Cape Coral police officers to spend positive one-on-one time with Cape Coral’s children of families who are struggling during difficult times.
Forty students are chosen to participate in the program. They are paired with police officers and enter the Cape Coral Super Walmart in groups. After they finish shopping, each pair is given a boxed to-go lunch.
The Cape Coral Police Department says the program, “…reinforces the idea of sharing and giving while promoting the idea that law enforcement role models are crucial to the development of our youth. The positive one-on-one experience each student receives from ‘Shop With A Cop’ is one that is never forgotten.”
The Cape Coral Police Department is now accepting applications for this year’s ‘Shop With A Cop’ event. The event will take place Monday, December 20, 2021. To nominate a child, parents and/or guardians should pick up a nomination form at the Cape Coral Police Department’s lobby or visit its website.
