Spivey Law Firm Continues Support of the Fort Myers Police “Shop with a Cop Back-to-School” Program
July 23, 2021 | Category: Community Support, Firm News | ShareFlorida schools closed to in-person learning on March 16, 2020, and students lost the rest of the 2019-2020 school year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a Forbes article published on March 27, 2021, titled ‘Covid-19 Has Exacerbated Child Poverty,’ it said “The hardest hit are children from low-income families, where school closures and the high cost of childcare forced previously employed parents to give up their jobs and income to care for their kids.”
"We at Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. are proud to support the Fort Myers Police Athletic League ‘Shop with a Cop Back-to-School’ program during this difficult time for parents and children in our community,” said Fort Myers Personal Injury Attorney Randall Spivey.
In August 2021, elementary and middle school students will be treated to a back-to-school shopping event accompanied by police representatives and sponsored by the Fort Myers Police Athletic League.
“We are pleased to be supporting this very worthy endeavor, and thank all those involved in the program,” says Randall Spivey.
