Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Andrew Abel has been named to the Florida Rising Star List for the third year. This is a status only achieved by 2.5 percent of Florida attorneys.

Selection to the Florida Rising Star List is a multi-phased, rigorous process. Each attorney is nominated by his or her peers and is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Attorney Abel is an associate attorney at Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. in Fort Myers, Florida. His litigation practice is focused on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was with a Miami, Florida firm focusing on litigation in the Florida state and federal courts. He is admitted to the Bars in the States of Florida, Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Attorney Abel received his law degree cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law, ranking in the top ten percent of his class, and served as Managing Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review. Andrew was on the Dean’s List every semester, was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, and was awarded Book Awards for top grades in Appellate Advocacy and State & Local Government Law.
