Fort Myers, FL (January 13, 2020) Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) troopers are investigating a hit-and-run bicycle crash that happened at 4:30 a.m. on January 13, 2020.  The bicyclist, 55-year-old James Flesher, who was riding along the paved shoulder, tragically died in the crash on US 41, near Page Field. 

The northbound driver left the scene after hitting Mr. Flesher.

Anyone who was witness to the crash or who has any information that could help troopers find the driver is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or Crime Stoppers.
