Florida News Alert – McGregor Boulevard Crash Tragically Kills Pedestrian
January 23, 2020 | Category: Florida News Alerts, Pedestrian Accidents | ShareFort Myers, FL (January 22, 2020) Anita Johnson, 63, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run crash on McGregor Boulevard, just after 10:00 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
Ms. Johnson was trying to cross McGregor when she was struck by a northbound vehicle.
Authorities shut down the area for FHP troopers to investigate the scene. The lanes were reopened around 1:15 a.m.
Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact FHP or Crime Stoppers.
