Fort Myers, FL (March 18, 2020) Fort Myers police report a pedestrian was injured in an accident around 8:00 p.m. The driver left the scene, drove westbound on Ballard Road and made a left turn onto Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard, according to the police.

The Fort Myers Police Department is requesting the public’s help in finding the fleeing vehicle. It was either a blue Dodge Caravan or a Chrysler Voyager with Florida plates and damage to the front passenger side.
