Florida News Alert – Second Tragic Death at Port Charlotte Senior Living Facility

The unidentified resident tragically died while hospitalized, according to South Port Square. There is no other information immediately available about the deceased.
The first resident tragically died of COVID-19 on March 31. This was the first death reported in Charlotte County.
Sixteen people have been tested for COVID-19 out of 600 residents and 430 staff members. South Port Square confirmed there are two residents hospitalized pending test results.
