Fort Myers, FL (December 7, 2019) Two people were killed and another person sustained serious injuries in a 12:53 p.m. accident on Daniels Parkway and Brookshire Lake Boulevard on Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). 

Ann Wilson, 56, and Janet Wilson, 52, of Fort Myers were driving a Toyota Corolla east in a left turn lane and a Ford Focus was driving west in the center lane. The Corolla hit the Ford Focus while turning at the intersection. One car hit a guard rail and crashed into a ditch.

Two lanes heading westbound on Daniels Parkway and all lanes on Brookshire Lake Boulevard were closed while FHP troopers cleared the scene.

FHP said the crash is under investigation.
