According to U.S. Youth Soccer, over the last 40 years, youth soccer registration has grown from 103,432 in 1994 to 3,055,148 in 2014. The U.S. Soccer State Association reports that 113,777 boys and girls in Florida participated in youth soccer through U.S. Youth Soccer during the 2013/2014 season.

Since 2008, we have been supporting youth soccer in the Gateway community. We began supporting the organization when it was known as the Christian Soccer Association (CSA) with sponsorships in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. When the Gateway Soccer Association was formed, after CSA decided to step down, Spivey Law Firm continued its support with sponsorships in the fall and spring of 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.  

The Gateway Soccer Association provides soccer opportunities for children ages 3 to 16. The association’s goal is to be able to provide a stable platform in which the children in its neighborhoods could learn and develop their soccer skills in an environment structured around their enjoyment first and foremost.

Gateway Soccer runs for two seasons of the year, one in fall (October through December) and one in the spring (March through May). The philosophy, as a recreational soccer program, is to first act as an introduction and then develop fundamental techniques for the sport.
