Participants in the program have gone on to play on school teams and in other competitive programs. Soccer in the United States has become very popular, and most Americans are familiar with the U.S. women’s team winning the 2019 World Cup in Paris, France. Following this win, U.S. soccer popularity increased even more. More than 3 million players between the ages of five and nineteen are registered with the U.S. Youth Soccer organization.
The 2019 Gateway Soccer Association fall season begins in September and ends in November. The season is 10 weeks long, and age groups are broken into two-year spans (Under 4, Under 6, Under 8, Under 10, etc.).
“The Gateway Soccer program is a great way for our youth to learn about soccer and teamwork. We encourage participation in this program,” said Attorney Randall Spivey.
