Wendy Martin of Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. Named 2016 Gulf Coast Paralegal of the Year
May 19, 2016 | Category: Firm News | ShareCongratulations to Wendy Martin for being named the 2016 Gulf Coast Paralegal of the Year by the Gulf Coast Paralegal Association. The Gulf Coast Paralegal Association is an affiliated association of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
To achieve this recognition, Wendy upheld the code of ethics and professional responsibility established by the NALA, the American Bar Association Code of Professional Responsibility and the Florida Bar Association Code of Professional Responsibility, as well as continuing her legal education through credits achieved by attending formal workshops and meetings.

Wendy earned her Associate of Arts in Business Administration in 1986 from Edison Community College and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1988 from the University of Florida, graduating with a Marketing Major. In 2008, Wendy earned an Associate in Science, Paralegal Studies from Southwest Florida College where she was on the Dean’s List.
As a member of the NALA, Wendy received her national certification from this association when she became a Certified Legal Assistant in 2011. She is also a member of the Gulfcoast Paralegal Association, Inc. Wendy continues to maintain her Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits with her certification, and is always excited to learn new things and ideas to provide top quality assistance for our clients.
Wendy is skilled at composing drafts of complaints, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, trial documents, and demand settlement packages for attorneys’ review. She is detail-oriented, extremely organized, and timely in the planning and implementation of assignments in cases such as complaints, pleadings, and discovery. We get many compliments from clients on her work and from other attorneys on the discovery that she answers.
Most importantly, Wendy cares deeply about the clients that we help at Spivey Law Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.A. who have suffered terrible life changing injuries. She works hard every day to provide them with excellent client service and skill in handling their cases to achieve the best possible results for clients. Her timeliness in returning all phone calls and emails provides each client with a high degree of personal attention.
Wendy is proficient in FastCase, WestLaw, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Aderant Total Office.
